Coming up with creative and engaging content can at times feel daunting.  We revamp our content for clients by scouring the web, especially Instagram feeds, for new ideas and inspiration.

Here are the top 10 best places to find social media content for credit unions or community banks.

    #1 National Holidays

This national holiday calendar is an excellent source to find unique days to celebrate with your member community.  The calendar allows you to plan post ideas in advance and possibly organize a contest for your members around a particular national holiday (i.e. National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day) and award 3 winners with $10 gift certificates to your favorite local bakery.

    #2 Instagram and TikTok

If you're not on Instagram yet, you should be! And even if TikTok isn't the right platform for your institution, it is still full of ideas. We love using TikTok and Instagram to see what other financial institutions are doing and how they can inspire content for our clients. We found these examples from Chase who subtly advertise their Visa card in the background of some delicious looking food.

From fashion to vacation destinations to cooking, Pinterest has it all.  We use Pinterest as a visual library for our posts and you don't have to strictly focus on financial content.  Do some of your members love fitness?  How about posting a 10-minute workout found on Pinterest?  Do some of your members love to cook?  How about posting a tasty recipe to try?  Creative ideas are endless on Pinterest.
